Life has been a little interesting the past almost 2 years. I was quite ambitious with my first att er mpt at blogging. Maybe I tried too hard... ie: it took too much time. We'll here is a start. I will try to include some retrospective blogs to explain v why right now I just don't give a shit and am at a really low point in life. Reading through my 2014 blogs I now realize how fucked up and depressed I am at this moment. Ahhhhrrrgggg!
The day started slowly with a productive workout and yoga session. Then I ventured out to Bent Creek for a bike ride, which always excites Abby. It was one of those rides where the climbing felt great and the descent even better! Putting my new brakes to use in ways that changed my riding style. Faster descending, one finger braking, crazy cornering and big air! After my ride we spent some time on the front porch enjoying the beautiful day with Mom and Teddy. Then off to deliver Buddy the chicken to Jan. For dinner we went downtown to Creperie Bouchon. Ooh yummy! Then walked around Asheville gawking at the tourists and fun times in the city. Just wish I had another day of fun in store instead of working today!
Time to celebrate. .. spring, birthdays, anniversary! Had a few friends over and had a good time. Jeana and Stephen brought the left over kegs from their wedding and much merriment ensued!
Six years ago Megan and I married. I have never been happier. I made Megan a card and had custom made m&m's delivered. To celebrate our anniversary we go th a nice little french restaurant downtown called Bouchon. The first time we were there the owner brought me new silver after I dropped mine. This time I enjoyed salmon with ramp pesto. We then wandered around town and stumbled upon the new speakeasy called Night Bell for our desert. What a cool place.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of being entertained on the big purple bus; La Zoom! Please bring your drinks and prepare to be entertained with hilarity for 1.5 hours! What a hoot!
